Surface morphology is the important part in the microstructures of electroless plating (EP) alloy films. The data are scattered in the vast literature. No one has collected them together and analyzed them systematically up today. We start, in this chapter, by treating surface morphology. At the outset, it is important to distinguish between two aspects of surface morphology: structure, the crystallography of defect-free surfaces, andmicro structure, the distribution of point and line defects that interrupt that perfect crystal- lography. Surface Morphology Surface Morphology is a subset of Analytical Imaging, which is an advanced form of high spatial resolution imaging that uses sophisticated microscopes to produce images of products, samples and objects that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Such images originates from the exposed surface of the sample or product.

Morphology is a qualitative evaluation of the three dimensional shape of a surface, whereas topography provides quantitative feature dimensions. However, I want to know in depth knowledge and The surface morphology, whether it is small as the roughness or large as the bend, is one of the main features of the channel which has a great impact on the flow behavior. In mathematics, a surface is a geometrical shape that resembles a deformed plane. The most familiar examples arise as boundaries of solid objects in ordinary three-dimensional Euclidean space R3, such as spheres.

Cell boundaries appear as ridges that clearly demarcate neighboring cells. In some cases the nucleus of individual cells could be seen, though apparently only in The surface morphology of the inner, middle, and outer layers of a three ply SM is shown in Figs. 2G–2I, respectively. Filtering efficiency. To find out if there is any correlation between surface structure and filtering efficiency, we measured the filtering efficiency of selected CMs (CM3, CM7, CM9, CM18), and one SM. Thus, an isotropic morphology of the holographic marker surface was formed and the value of diffraction efficiency of 3% was achieved, compared to 1.5% for the marker made of pure starch. Coatings without holographic markers were analyzed by tensile strength and water contact angle, and their properties are highly dependent on their composition. The surface morphology of plastic materials after the interaction with arc shots changes significantly due to intensive interaction with plasma followed by soot condensation as was discussed in several publications [5,7]. Information about the surface morphology of the affected substrates in a micron range and at larger scales is Experiment results confirmed that the fluorination to epoxy resin and alumina composites can change the surface morphology by changing the exposed area of surface alumina particles. It also showed that fluorinated samples have higher DC flashover voltage in both air and SF6 due to the combined effect of the change in the surface morphology and the surface conductivity.
